Sam Kristofski

Sam’s work implores an eclectic recreation of striking vintage disciplines from the 60/70s and today’s eras with a twist, like a good martini. From the costuming and styling to the camera format, shooting on 16mm old film stock film, to the 60’s style colour grade and camera techniques that lean into nuances created for previous eras.

This isn’t to say Sam only lives in the past and nostalgia, he also draws inspiration from elements of periodic sci-fi situations, meshed with his own style and his own current fictional hues to complete the art of his work. There’s contrast and impeccable details in everything he does, Sam will bring his interpretation of an idea to the forefront of stylised, heightened and considered filmmaking with every project making him rather unique.
